Ordering, Shipping & Delivery
Do you offer free shipping?
Yes — free shipping is available on select models. Check the individual product page for current details. Shipping costs for other items are calculated at checkout based on your location and the size/weight of the unit.
How long does shipping take?
Most orders ship within a few business days. Transit times vary by model and destination (typically 5–14 business days for standard freight in the continental U.S.). Larger outdoor saunas and ice baths ship via freight and may require a scheduled delivery appointment. You will receive tracking information once your order ships.
Do you ship internationally?
Currently we primarily serve the United States. Contact us for inquiries about shipping to Canada or other locations.
What is your return policy?
Please contact us within 7 days of delivery if there is an issue with your order. Because these are large, made-to-order or freight-shipped wellness products, returns are evaluated case-by-case. We stand behind product quality and will work with you on solutions for damaged or incorrect items. See Refund Policy at bottom of the page.
Product Selection & Features
What’s the difference between infrared and traditional cedar saunas?
Infrared saunas (like our Lumin and Eldvik/Fjordheim models) use far-infrared heaters that warm the body directly at lower ambient temperatures. They heat up faster, use less energy, and are often preferred for daily recovery sessions.
Traditional outdoor cedar saunas (Auris series) use a heater that warms the air and rocks, creating a classic higher-temperature experience with steam potential. Both deliver excellent recovery benefits — the best choice depends on your space, preferred temperature, and aesthetic.
How do I choose the right size?
- Solo or couple: Fjordheim Solo or Lumin One
- 2-person: Eldvik, Lumin Two, or compact cedar options
- Family or entertaining: Lumin Three or Auris One/Two
Consider available outdoor space, door clearance, and whether you want room for contrast therapy (sauna + cold plunge side-by-side). Our team can help you match capacity to your goals and footprint.
Can I use a cold plunge and sauna together (contrast therapy)?
Absolutely — this is one of the most effective recovery protocols. A typical session alternates 10–15 minutes of heat with 1–3 minutes of cold, repeated 2–3 times. Our collections are designed so you can create a complete backyard contrast setup. Many customers pair a cedar or infrared sauna with an Aurland, Isvik, Svalvik, or Frost cold plunge.
Do the cold plunges come with chillers?
Some models (e.g., Aurland with 1HP Chiller) include a chiller for precise temperature control. Others are available without a chiller if you prefer ice or live in a climate that keeps water naturally cold. Chillers maintain consistent temperatures (typically in the 40s–50s °F range) with less daily effort.
Installation & Setup
How difficult is installation?
Infrared models are often plug-and-play (110V/220V depending on the unit) and designed for straightforward setup. Outdoor cedar saunas and larger ice baths typically require more assembly and, in some cases, professional electrical work for 220V/240V circuits. Detailed instructions are included, and our team provides guidance. Many customers handle assembly themselves; others prefer local help for the heavier pieces.
What electrical requirements should I plan for?
- Many infrared saunas: 110V or 220V (check the specific product page)
- Larger or traditional heaters: often 220V/240V and a dedicated circuit
- Chillers: usually standard 110V or 220V
We recommend consulting a licensed electrician for any hard-wired or high-amperage installs. Specs are listed on each product page.
Do I need a permit or special foundation?
Requirements vary by location. Most outdoor saunas sit on a level, well-draining surface (concrete pad, pavers, or reinforced deck). Check local building codes for outdoor structures and electrical work. We can point you to general best practices.
Is white-glove delivery or installation available?
We offer white-glove guidance from selection through delivery and setup. For certain models or locations, enhanced delivery services may be available — contact us for details on your specific order.
Use, Benefits & Care
What are the main benefits of regular sauna and cold plunge use?
Consistent contrast therapy supports circulation, muscle recovery, reduced inflammation, mental clarity, stress resilience, better sleep, and long-term cardiovascular and longevity benefits associated with regular heat and cold exposure. Results build with consistency rather than intensity.
How often should I use my sauna or cold plunge?
Many people start with 3–4 sessions per week and progress to daily use as it becomes a ritual. Listen to your body, stay hydrated, and begin conservatively with cold exposure (30–60 seconds for beginners).
How do I maintain my sauna or cold plunge?
- Saunas: Wipe benches, keep the interior dry when not in use, and protect outdoor wood with appropriate sealant as recommended.
- Cold plunges: Follow filtration and sanitation guidelines for your model; chillers need periodic maintenance.
Specific care instructions ship with each product. Proper care significantly extends lifespan.
Is outdoor use safe in all climates?
Our outdoor models are built for real-world weather. Extreme cold, heavy snow loads, or very high humidity may require additional protection or seasonal considerations. Cedar is naturally durable; follow any climate-specific guidance provided.
Warranty, Financing & Support
What warranty is included?
Most products include a manufacturer warranty (commonly 1 year on many infrared models; check the specific product page for exact coverage). Warranties typically cover defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. Commercial use, improper installation, or weather damage may void coverage.
Do you offer financing?
Yes — flexible financing with easy monthly payments is available at checkout on qualifying orders. This makes it simple to start your recovery setup without paying the full amount upfront.
Who do I contact for support after purchase?
Email or use the contact form on our site. We provide ongoing guidance and will connect you with the appropriate manufacturer support when needed. Response times are typically within one business day.
Can I speak with someone before buying?
Yes. Use the Contact page to send questions about space, goals, electrical needs, or model comparisons. We’re happy to help you choose the right setup.
